Dec. 5-2013 ~ Kids are off to school and here I go around and around inside the house to do house chores again. Up and down the stairs looking for laundry in all the rooms , wash the dishes from last night, remove the spoiled rice in the rice cooker ( oooppsssss ) and sweep my hair that had fallen all over the place. I hate when my hair falls ...since they are very long, they are so hard to sweep from the floor with the broom coz they stick on the broom all the time. Today I was delighted to see our home allowance had finally arrived in my account so I will now buy a vacuum cleaner at
Harvey Norman or
Best Denski whoever is near my place and then suck all the dust and dirt and damn hairs that had been decorating the house floors over the last few months. Yuckkk I know ...
and big Yes, I say months coz since we moved in this house in Sept., I never had a vacuum cleaner to clean this 4 storey house . Imagine how troublesome that was when I was dealing with massive space to clean up and quite a number of stairs to go up and down !

The granite floors were sparkling clean after I had mopped them yesterday morning ... |
I was thinking maybe the dust , that's the trigger to my hives I'd been suffering from the last few months since I had been living here. I never had hives on my legs and thighs like these before . Only when I came living in this house that I started having them almost everyday and I hate the itch and the bumps on my skin that just suddenly out of nowhere starts appearing on my legs and thighs most of the time. Now even my back had started having bumps as well... oh noooooo !

Hives behind my thighs ... |

Reddish itchy bumps called hives ... |
This skin condition made me feel horrible for a couple of minutes when the reddish bumps starts to appear on my skin anytime of the day and then after a few hours, they dissappear without a trace like nothing happened at all ! So weird !
I guess, I really need to go out and get the vacuum cleaner, but, I first decided to call the cooking gas delivery and ordered a tank of cooking gas. I had tried to cook 3 days ago but the stove won't light up.
I thought it was the empty gas tank but I could hear some splashes inside the tank as I shake it from side to side to check if it was empty. There was still a sound of liquid splashing inside although the tank was kind of light weight.
On and off with the hose connection to try if stove would light up, I just gave up in the end concluding" Ok, this tank has to be refilled to get this stove going again ". But today, the delivery guy who arrived within 30 mins after i called them ( geeezzz , he was fast ! ) had installed the refill tank and the stove still won't bother to light up automatically. Oh dear, we could hear and smell the gas coming out of the burners but they won't light up.
Agghhhhhh.... I was bothered coz I just paid $36.00 for a new 12.7 kg tank of gas and still I cannot cook ? That's not possible . I told the guy to check the stove and he lit up the burners with a handheld lighter. Ok, the hand held lighter helped lit it up. I tried lighting it up as well but I'm not happy with this process of holding the lighter and lit it up. The stove shouldn't be working that way ...
It lits up but I told him, that can't be the case for the stove coz it has to light up automatically without a handheld lighter. So we both tried to figure out what to do until I showed him a knob for the sparkler.
He unscrewed it and voila.. we found the major cause of the problem why the burners won't lit up.
The Alkaline battery was spoiled. Haayyzzz..... we both laughed at each other when we found the hidden battery inside that compartment under the screw-type knob. Ok .. now is time for me to go out and find an Alkaline battery to replace it and get the vacuum cleaner.
